Microsoft: Patent veredict is overturned

This past tuesday a federal court reversed a previous ruling that said that their product activation technology was infringing on a pre-existing patent. The amount involved is 388 million dollars.
"We are pleased that the court has vacated the jury verdict and entered judgment in favor of Microsoft," Microsoft spokesman Kevin Kutz said in a statement.
