Ballmer said he hopes that once the new operating system is available, individual workers will be going to businesses asking them to put Windows 7 on their corporate computers. Ballmer highlights the cost savings that can be achieved. Customers can expect to save $90 to $160 a year per each computer that moves to Windows 7, basically from lower support and management costs.
